The Garden In Winter.
Winter fades the garden now
Where laughter used to flower
It makes us sad to linger here
The minutes seem like hours
But though we only see the loss
Of what we used to know,
In time the warmth of memory
Will make the garden grow
And shades of love we thought we'd lost
Once again will show peeking through the snow.
Where laughter used to flower
It makes us sad to linger here
The minutes seem like hours
But though we only see the loss
Of what we used to know,
In time the warmth of memory
Will make the garden grow
And shades of love we thought we'd lost
Once again will show peeking through the snow.

where'd you get this poem? its cute
Cute? I wouldn't call it that. I got it from a sympathy card we got when my great-grandmother died. It kind of said how I felt at the time so I wrote down.
It is amazing how when we feel a great loss, we find a lot of comfort in poetry.
When a good friend of mine passed away, I had a very hard time. I took out some paper and wrote down how I felt and it seemed to help to get it out. Now I have a little poem to remind me of him.
