Urban Legends.

The Cement Cadillac
A cement-truck driver had an order to deliver a load of wet cement just around the block from his house one day and he decided to stop by and have coffee with his beautiful wife. When he got there he saw a shiney new cadillac parked in his spot. Feeling a little suspicious he peeked in the window and saw her having coffee with some handsome rich guy. Without a pause he got in his truck and filled the caddy with his leftover cement. His wife ran out of the house and asked him why he'd just destroyed the new car she'd just had delivered for him.

No Radio
A man who was tired of having his vehicles broken into specifically asked for no radio when he bought his new car. He put a sign in the windshield that said in large letters: "NO RADIO". One day he returned to it to find the windshield broken anyway. Beside his sign he found a note that read: "Just checking."

The Unstealable Car
A man's biggest fear was that his new sportscar would be stolen and he went to great lengths to insure that didn't happen. Each night he backed the car carefully into the garage, chained the frame to the floor, set the alarm and locked the garage. One morning he entered the garage and was shocked to discover the car was exactly as he always left it, except it had been turned around! On the seat was a note, it read: "WHEN WE WANT IT, WE'LL COME GET IT."

All Aboard
A man was riding the train to an important dinner one night when he realized he'd boarded the wrong train, this was the express that would only slow down at his stop. Desperated not to miss his appointment, when the train neared the town he wanted to go to, stood in the doorway and leaped out as the train passed through the station. He hit the ground running and before he could stop himself a conductor standing in a passing car grabbed his collar and pulled him back onto the train. He said "You're lucky I saw you, don't you know this train doesn't stop here?"

The Jogger's Wallet
A man was jogging along one day when another jogger bumped him lightly and excused himself. Already annoyed, the man noticed that his wallet was missing and took off after the jogging pickpocket. He quickly caught up to and tackled him, yelling "Give me that wallet!" The frightened pickpocket gave it up and ran off. When the man returned home his wife asked him if he'd stopped at the store, anxious to tell his tale he said "No, but I have a good excuse!" His wife replied: "I know, you left your wallet on the dresser."

The Nut & the Nuts
A young woman was driving alone one night near the local Insane Asylum when she heard on the radio that a dangerous Lunatic had escaped. Within minutes she heard a pop and felt one of her tires go flat. She built up her nerve and got out and began to change the tire. Just as she slid the spare on she noticed a man in a plain white uniform staring at her from the bushes. Startled, she dropped the lugnuts and heard them scatter on the ground, as she vainly searched in the darkness for the scattered lug-nuts she heard the man slowly approaching. Terrified, she asked herself in a trembling voice, "What am I going to do now?" and the Lunatic replied "Why don't you take one nut from each of the other wheels and put them on the spare?" She did, and was soon on her way.

The Flat Tire
For one reason or another, a group of friends missed an exam in a class they all had together, they decided to tell the professor they'd been stranded with a flat tire. When they came in for the make-up exam they were handed out test booklets and when they opened the booklets the only question was "Which Tire?"

The Cabbage Patch Tragedy
A woman washed cabbage in the washing machine and damaged it badly. Since they were so difficult to come buy she sent it back to the company hoping it could be repaired. A few weeks later she recieved a death-certificate in the mail, and a bill for the funeral.

The Dishonest Note
A man returned from shopping to find his car had been badly dented, and the culprit was no where in sight. As he got closer he felt relieved when he saw a note had been placed under his windshield-wiper. Laughing at himself for doubting the honesty of the average person, he pulled the note loose and read it, it said :"THE PEOPLE WATCHING ME THINK I'M LEAVING MY NAME AND ADDRESS, BUT I'M NOT."

Animals
Rats don't vomit
Dogs can vomit at will, they don't eat grass to make themselves vomit

Government & the Law
Many CIA and other government agencies' snackbars are staffed by blind people to help maintain secrecy and security.
There are traffic lights with green on top in a few US Irish neighborhoods.
Some animal shelters have prohibited the adoption of cats during Halloween to avoid cruelty by "Satanists."
The state of Kanses has outlawed the teaching of evolution because God told them to.
